Battle for Middle Earth 1/2
« on: July 18, 2008, 09:05:41 »

I personally like this game much and would like to purchase a copy of it!

This game actually requires a bit of brainwork.

When I knew the map better I used to pwn CoLa  ;D

But he found out about the units' strengths and weaknesses faster and now he pwns me :P

Have any of you tried this game?

If you haven't I highly recommend you to try it!

:D I will do so when I can
The graphics in BFME is really awesome though
I was extremely surprised when I first saw it.

BFME 1 is quite fun to play with.

BFME 2 has much better graphics with more armies and units, buildings to choose from.

I personally prefer 1 ;)
It's easier to play and takes up less brain space / time.

Before i started to play GTAs I played a lot RTS games, such as Age of Empires or Rise of Nations.

This seems quite interesting game, unfortunately i havent been able to see it in finnish stores (yet). I was going to download a demo, but due to its huge size (almost 1.4 gigs  :-X) i decided to dl it later when i get my faster internet back

There's a 1 and 2.

1 has less options and stuff but it's still fun nonetheless.

2 has lots more options (Armies, Units, Buildings, Maps, Etc)

They are both available as torrents I think :P

This owns \o/

Got BFME1 some time ago and played it a couple of times during the past week (against nub cpu x:)

As a strategy game its nothing very specific or new, makes it easier to learn though. However it has absorbed some of its atmosphere from the movies, which makes me like it :D

Nice game ;) Just hoping i would have more time to play it :X

I had fun playing with cola recently :)

Got pwned loads and pwned loads :P

Glad to hear that you enjoyed the game =]

BFMEII is in some ways very much like starcraft (game-play-wise) but it really is nice and enjoyable, especially because it has many more heroes and armies.
(Customisable castles too!)

I'll attach a replay that I recorded while pwning cola ;D

Tactics D:

Well, I didn't use any for these particular replays...

There's this map called: "City_In_The_Sea" and the team above always have little chance of winning.
CoLa was trying to prove me wrong by winning against me. lol
He made loads and loads of free-orcs but I had way more money and unit slots than him so D:

PS. Hopefully the zip is uploaded this time :S
Edit: Yay it uploaded ;D
Edit2: Some fun map files ;) here
